On the morning of June 17, a delegation led by Rita Tang, Director of International Department of the Tea Industry Committee of China Association for the Promotion of International Agricultural Cooperation(TICCAPIAC), visited Mr. Budi Hansyah, Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of Indonesia in China. The two sides held productive discussions on future cooperation in the tea industry. Also present at the meeting were Zhang Ran from the Trade Section of the Indonesian Embassy and Shane Miao from TICCAPIAC’s International Department.
During the talks, Rita Tang provided a detailed introduction to the association’s development history, brand activities, and achievements in international exchanges. She highlighted the long-standing cooperation between TICCAPIAC and Indonesian institutions, including the Indonesian Embassy in China and the Indonesian Tea Association. Rita Tang expressed hope for deeper collaboration in tea trade, technical exchanges, and cultural promotion.
Commercial Counsellor Budi Hansyah welcomed the visit of Rita Tang and her delegation. He said that Indonesia attaches great importance to exchanges with China in the field of tea industry and is willing to actively play a bridging role to promote the connection between enterprises of the two countries, technical cooperation and market interconnection. He particularly emphasized that if there are specific cooperation projects in the future, the embassy is willing to provide support and assistance, and hopes to maintain regular communication with our association to jointly explore more cooperation opportunities.
