On the afternoon of September 11, the Matcha Development Exchange Seminar was held successfully in the National Agricultural Library of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

This seminar focused on the trends and technological upgrades in the matcha industry, bringing together over 200 participants, including experts, scholars, government representatives from production regions, and leaders of leading enterprises. Through industry initiatives, report releases, thematic presentations, and roundtable dialogues, the event aimed to build consensus and chart a clear path for the high-quality development of China’s matcha industry.

The convening of this seminar marks a critical step for China’s matcha industry in transitioning from "fragmented development" to "collaborative innovation." Moving forward, the Tea Industry Committee of China Association for the Promotion of International Agricultural Cooperation will continue to advance the development of an expert think tank, promote alignment with international standards, and expand market services. These efforts will support China’s matcha industry in achieving a shift from "scale leadership" to "quality leadership" within the global value chain.
