On February 24, the launching ceremony for the export of high-end jasmine tea from Qianwei County to Spain was held at Tianyu Xinnong New City in Qingxi Town. The first batch of 100,000 cups of high-end jasmine tea was exported to Spain, with new tea beverage enterprises in the county signing overseas orders exceeding 16 million US dollars.

The exported products include a rich variety of specialty scented teas, such as jasmine tea, red date and goji berry jasmine tea, jasmine black tea, and dragon ball scented tea. Among them, the first batch of 100,000 cups of high-end jasmine tea is valued at approximately 400,000 RMB, with subsequent batches set to be shipped according to order plans.

The impressive data revealed at the launching ceremony represents a further step in the internationalization of the Qianwei jasmine tea industry. In the first quarter of 2026, new tea beverage enterprises in Qianwei County have signed overseas orders exceeding 16 million US dollars, equivalent to approximately 110 million RMB. Among them, local leading enterprises have shown outstanding performance: Sichuan Longshan Tea Industry signed 10 million US dollars in orders, with products exported to Russia and Spain; Feng Guiren Tea Industry obtained 6 million US dollars in orders, exclusively supplying the American Bell Flavors & Fragrances company. These two enterprises have become the core drivers of Qianwei jasmine tea exports.

Next, Qianwei County will take this successful start of exports as an opportunity to continuously strengthen the brand of Qianwei jasmine tea, a national geographical indication protected product, constantly improve the construction of the entire industrial chain, further expand the scale of international certification and registered bases, and continuously expand diversified overseas channels such as cross-border e-commerce and international exhibitions, so that the fragrance of qianwei jasmine tea can spread all over the world. Promote the high-quality development of the flower tea industry to boost rural revitalization and contribute more to the open economic development of Leshan.
